So far this new feature is for Royalty members only but soon stardoll will release it for superstars as well.

Basically its a little like the design studio in some way.

You pay 149 stardollars to unlock a new room-like feature that you can decorate with your own clothes and furniture.

You later create your own outfits like a stylist would and I'm guessing put them on display. Gradually other stardoll members will come and if they buy an item from that outfit or the whole outfit you get money.

I'm not sure how it works exactly as I got this information from stardoll. But I'm hoping to buy it soon and try it out. It looks really good :D

Ask imprsv: Makeup

So I've decided from now on you guys can message my stardoll account (imprsv) what tutorial you'd like, it can be makeup, designing, questions, advice... anything you'd like and I'll possibly answer one of those questions or do one of those requests once a week.



This week I'll do a step by step tutorial on how to do my medoll's makeup.

So here it is :)

This is the close up of what the eyes will look like.

Step 1: Get a purple eyeshadow (preferably the eyeshadow shown above or one in similar colour) start from the tear ducts, over the eyelid(a bit higher if you prefer) right up until the end of the iris like done above. You can repeat this step if you'd like the eyeshadow to be darker in colour.

Step 2: Get a light green eyeshadow and use it for the remainder of the eyelid so you have something similar to the image shown above. Repeat step to make colour darker if desired.

Step 3: Get a black eyeshadow and use only a little bit where the green and purple eyeshadow meet. try to avoid applying the black more than once.








Step 4: Get a dark green liquid eyeliner and follow the LOWER lash line from the tear ducts all the way to the end making sure to add a LITTLE flick at the end.









Step 5: Get a black liquid eyeliner and do a thin line on the upper lash line. Be carefull with the end flick as you want the bottom half of the flick to be green and the top half to be black like above.

Step 6: Use a white pencil liner on the upper lash line like above ^

Step 7: Use a VERY light pink or white eyeshadow and trace the brow line using it on all the parts of the eyelid etc that have no eyeshadow like done above making sure not to go below the black eyeliner flick and try not to overlap any of the other eyeshadow.

Step 8: Use a volumizing mascara on ONLY the upper lashes.

Step 9: Repeat step 8 but with lengthening mascara.








Now your done :D Add your desires lipstick/lipgloss, blush, eyebrow pencil whatever to make the look bold or more you.

New Antidote collections!!!!

Antidote fans keep an eye out!
Some time this month or early February at the latest stardoll will be releasing the first Antidote collection of 2012!

New Hotbuys top

I don't think it looks that bad considering the other hotbuys releases. It is a bit expensive for a top but either way I'm sure collectors will buy it.
And I do think it'll look great with the right layering.

IndentiTee - 'give onesies a chance'

'Give onsies a chance'. really stardoll? Really?
Honestly what was stardoll thinking when they launched these outfits?
Sure onsies are cute on little kids but on our medolls? I don't know.

I think the ones on the first page (Image above) COULD look cute if you had a theme on your medoll making it look like a baby...
But the second page...Now that is just confusing...






Leopard print? Camo? Paint splatter?!

What could you do with those?

You'd need serious swag to pull those off...

Broadcasts... Are they worth it?

This is just ridiculous, stardoll members are spending THOUSANDS of stardollars just to send broadcasts for various reasons.

Like for people to vote them covergirl/album/scenery, to check their bazar, join their party, look at their presentation.

What ever the reason is it worth putting that much money into broadcasts that last only about two seconds and cost 5 stardollars each?

Take today for instance:

The number one broadcaster sent out 2011 broadcasts that cost 5 stardollars each, thats like 10055 stardollars!!

In real life that costed her nearly two hunder and seventy-nine dollars!! ($279)

What do we gain out of sending broadcasts?

Sure we get a lot of visitors and the possible chance of selling an item or two and earning a few votes, but we also get a TON load of advertisments and chainmails in our guestbooks.

Everytime I send one broadcast I get about 3-4 people advertising their own sales through my guestbook.

What are your opinions?
